So, I decided to join a Writer's Workshop group, which I went to
yesterday for the first time. It was a small group in the corner of one
of the campus buildings. I hesitant at first, but they made me feel very
welcome, and as the time passed I found that these were people who knew
what they were talking about regarding writing. Stories were presented
and read aloud by different members of the group, and at the end the
audience would give their critique to help the author improve their
work. If I'm not mistaken, they even took notes on the stories in order
to have better suggestions, which impressed me, because all other
writing groups I have attended throughout the years has been very lax
and "laissez faire" in their approach. The people were fun to be around,
and I find that I respect their opinion. I will definitely keep coming.
=)
Also, I found out that November is the National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo
) where each day - if you accept the challenge - you write 1600 words,
and by the end of the month you should have a (unedited) novel! I find
this exciting, and I think I will take on the challenge this year.
Which means I need to get ahead of my homework so I can have the time for it. (1600 words is about 4-6 pages every day after all)

Blog of Thoughts
Yep, I made another blog. It helps me to keep things organized, and I like to diversify. It is called Wisdom and Knowledge are Stability, and will be a collection of my thoughts, mostly about church or scripture related topics. I will continue to use this blog for daily activities, but my life can be pretty boring, and I always forget to post (I'm a lot more consistent with my actual journal). I also don't want random people looking at this blog, just friends and family, so I took it off search engines.
It might also have to do with the fact that I like projects, so having more than one blog sounds like fun to me.
Anyway, check them all out! ( all pages have been moved to the top ^ )

Organizing
Because I felt like my blog was becoming cluttered, I moved all of my music videos onto a separate page, with the link to the left. Just underneath it is the link to my writing blog, which you are all free to take look at any time. =) Also, I have gone through and added labels to posts, with the list of them on the bottom-left side, just so you know.

A New Blog for Writing
I have made another, new blog for the stories and other writings I have done, in order to have them in one place. I don't intend to put any more stories on this blog, since they are too long, but I will be keeping this one for events and other things. My blog is called A Compilation of Beginnings and I hope you come and visit it every once in a while to see what I have written. =)

Stuff...
So... I've been finding that I write about once a month now. which I think is okay, as long as I write well. =)
I am continually finding things that make me happy (good music being one of them), and as Thanksgiving nears, I shall try to put up a list of these things(perhaps I'll start a list on paper?).
I have also started a writing journal, and I am comfortable writing in it, and drawing in it, and putting in random thoughts, because I don't have to turn it in as an assignment, or be required to show it to anyone, or worry about how it looks or sounds, because it's all mine!! muahahahahahaha! ^-^
I hope everyone is having a great day!

Writing =)
Hey everyone! at least I"m consistent with my journal writing, which I can't say the same for my blogging. =) Even so, I still enjoy having my own place to write. Speaking of writing, I have gotten into it lately and trying to it more often. Last week, I happened to hear about a writing contest, and it caught my attention. So, for most of the weekend and basically any free time during school, I wrote. And wrote. It was fun! But the last day before it was due was... nerve-wracking. -_- Even so, everything worked out and I was able to get it all completed and turned in. If you want to read it, here is my story (enjoy!):
Cakes in Moonlight
Through the moonlit forest, a large, midnight blue wolf with silver-white specks that almost looked like stars on its silky fur ran swiftly through the gently waving trees. The trees began to disperse, and seeing the fortress-city, Kayke, the wolf cut across a clearing to end up near the Western entry gate. Checking for people, it then smoothly reverted into a tall, thin human form. The man wore a medium-length black trench coat with a long sleeved grey T-shirt underneath, navy blue jeans and black boots, and a long, wide, silvery scarf around his shoulders. On top of his shaggy, dark blue hair a floppy black beret with a visor covered his pointed ears, which, along with his tail, wouldn’t disappear until daylight, and underneath the stray strands of hair two bright silver eyes glowed above a small smile. After dusting himself off, Sirius Nightclaw sighed and sat down against a tree gently waving in the wind to wait for the sunrise.
