Things To Know

As you can see, my blog is a bright, happy green and has my profile on the right side of the screen. I have some links to blogs of people I know, a picture of the world, a book list, and a music video links list. I recommend watching these videos, for they are my favorites of the ones I have found and I think that the people who made them did a good job. Also, the song which I got the namesake for this blog is on the bottom bar as a video.

Feasting Poem

Here's a poem from the book Triss, which I just finished:

"Be thankful for the season,
And happy for the day,
Be grateful for the bounty,
Which comes to us this way.
Good food from the earth is grown,
And brought unto our table,
By honest toil and labor,
Let's eat whilst we are able!"

~excerpt from Triss
-By Brian Jacques

I think it really shows gratitude for good food and the company of others (Thanksgiving comes to mind).

To Salt Lake City

Today my family and I went to Salt Lake City. We had lunch at "Olive Garden" and I got a Shrimp Primavera that was very tasy. Then we explored around Salt Lake City where we stopped at the "Salt Lake City Library." >
(I think it kind of looks like the Roman Coliseum =D )
It was very fun and there was a cool sculpture hanging from the ceiling that looked like a face.

To The Mountains

Today my family and I went to the mountain campsites in Bountiful and made a campfire. Even though thetemperature was chilly, my dad was able to make a nice fire. We made S'mores and hot dogs roasted over the warm blaze. However, at abot 5:00 it got way too cold so we had to pack up and leave. Don't worry Smoky Bear, we made sure the fire was out!

Webkinz!!!

Webkinz are so much fun! When you buy the stuffed animal you are able to go on the site and make an account. Once you get on the site, the fun begins! Your Webkinz can walk around the house you make using "kinzcash" that you earn by playing fun games. There are vacations (spa or an island), Collectables (trading cards, charms, webkinz, etc.), House building, Dressing your webkinz, and chat with other webkinz owners.
It's all good fun, however my favorite thing to do is working on my house and organizing it.

I have 2 Webkinz: Manny the Googles (platypus animal) and Sprite the Treefrog.
