The time of car accidents in the snow, store shelves emptying, and lots of stress for presents. I'm just kidding, actually it has been a great season this year. For example, some things that makes all the difference:
- when store clerks look tired, but are still very cheerful, after all, it is Christmas!
- when you can finish all the shopping and presents you meant to before Christmas Day.
- You just found the Perfect Gift for someone
- Your whole family is home and no one argues
- the furnace is in working order
- all the decorations are glittery and work as they should
- the fireplace (if you have one) is crackling and you can just sit on the couch in big fuzzy blankets.
- the snow is falling gently outside
- you know that everyone you care about is home safely
- the nativity scenes are strewn all over, and it doesn't matter if a couple pieces are missing, because the main part is still there.
- (fill in with something you can't do without on Christmas)
However, I'm sure we all know the "Reason for the Season," and that is to "Keep Christ in Christmas" and so...
A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL!!!

First Snow of Winter
Yay! snow! Since about 11 o'clock we have had heavy snow falling near my house.
"It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas..."

Carol of The Bells
Yesterday with my mom, and youngest sister we went to an AMAZING concert in Salt Lake City! Some members of MOTAB or maybe just a talented group, were playing in the tabernacle on Temple Square many different songs from "Silent Night" to the Cantina song in Star Wars(it was on the harp and therefore became an "awe-inspiring" song). Almost every single song was played using bells, from tiny high-pitched ones to ones as big as Tricia! There was also a harp, an organ, violins, flutes, and a bassoon. Although we were unfortunate ehough to end up right between some audience members who weren't very respectful, we still had a good time there!

New Experience
Jerking, speeding up then slowing down in haste, my body is thrown forward then back again along with my mom's. Eyes skimming the horizon, hands gripping tensely, palms and forehead sweating, my feet having methodic seizures of up, down. If only... I had done this before! If only... I didn't have a headache; If only... pedestrians and all the people in the world could just disappear for this moment in time! Oh, the joys of my first driving experience. Okay, I admit, even though I was nervous I had a great time with the small, blue, wrecked car and my mother guiding me, giving me tips and advice. I suppose that Dr. Ed. has made me exceptionally paranoid even when I'm not in a car.

Antelope Island
Today my family went to an island in the middle of the Salt Lake called Antelope Island. It is a natural preserve with antelope and... Buffalo!!! We got really close to a herd of them and they were so cool! Even though they were big and had large horns, they seemed pretty docile/gentle, from far away at least. Tricia also got a very cute and fluffy bison stuffed animal. Before sunset, we walked to the beach, which took a long time. It was interesting though, sometimes the sand was really soft, and other times it was covered in sharp, flat rocks.
Also, a comment on the music video of the week, "I'm So Lucky", I just happened to stumble across it (isn't surfing the net fun?=D ) while looking at other videos. I really like it because it is talking about positive self-talk and is very catchy. I don't recommend singing it out randomly though, because people might think you were full of yourself or just a wierdo. Haha, that doesn't mean I haven't already done it a few times. (=
