Gratitude and "Thanksgiving"

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope everyone is having a good day, with family and food! =)
So then, some things I'm grateful for:
  • Family (I truly enjoy spending time with my wonderful family)
  • A Home
  • Good Friends
  • An Education/School
  • My Teachers ( I really do have great teachers)
  • My Church
  • The Scriptures
  • The Temples
  • Good Music
  • Good Art
  • A Cheerful Attitude (It takes effort, but I'm still grateful for it)
  • Talents
  • My Neighbors
  • The Internet (there are so many things you can do for the good)
  • This Beautiful Earth
  • The Sky and Weather
  • Good Health
  • This Time I Live In (there will always be the good along with the bad)
  • Having Time
  • Generous people (to all those who give away time, money, and effort)
  • Kind people (they make this world a better place)
  • My Country
  • Good Books
  • My Mind and Body
  • A Car (doesn't it make life so much easier?)
  • Food (I also like to help cook)
  • Clothing
  • Clean Air
  • Fun Games
  • My Readers =)
  • Emotions/Feelings
  • Having Life
There are many other things I could list, these are just the things that come to mind, and that I feel would be okay to post online. There is a particular being that I feel especially grateful to, but perhaps this isn't the best place to write about it. =) I hope that each person has a wonderful Thanksgiving, and gives "thanksgiving" for the many blessings they have.

Stuff...

So... I've been finding that I write about once a month now. which I think is okay, as long as I write well. =)
I am continually finding things that make me happy (good music being one of them), and as Thanksgiving nears, I shall try to put up a list of these things(perhaps I'll start a list on paper?).
I have also started a writing journal, and I am comfortable writing in it, and drawing in it, and putting in random thoughts, because I don't have to turn it in as an assignment, or be required to show it to anyone, or worry about how it looks or sounds, because it's all mine!! muahahahahahaha! ^-^

I hope everyone is having a great day!

Personal Narrative Poem

A poem I had to write for English, my mom enjoyed it and said I should share it, so here it is, my personal narrative poem about my drive to Idaho.

Drive To Idaho
After school not so long ago
I took my sis’ to Idaho
Back off to school Katrina goes
Away from boring family woes
College life seems like lots of fun
Home-life doesn’t offer a ton
Concerning studies and knowledge
All of it is found at college
So off we drive, sister and Mom
And then there’s me, I tagged along
To go and get some hours driving
To get my license I’m striving
Start from South Weber, on we go
See the buildings and towns I know
Soon we are in unknown places
Lots of people, lots of faces
Then there is nothing, just some dirt
And my seatbelt begins to hurt
Turn the wheel a couple of times
Into my eyes the sun does shine
Driving, driving, drive some more
My personal Idaho tour
Soon we are in Pocatello
Meet ‘Trina’s roommates, say hello
Having dinner at Arby’s, Yes!
Now the car has become a mess
It’s starting to get dark at night
The road has very little light
Finally reaching back again
Didn’t get home ‘til twelve AM

Driver's License

Yay for driving! Today, I was finally able to get my driver's license, so now I can drive by myself, and not have to have an adult with me. I know that I have been slow, but it took me awhile to get the driving hours. Even so, I enjoy driving, and I am looking forward to the independence it will give me. =)

Braces Off!

I got my braces off today! I still have a retainer, but I am quite happy to have the braces off! My teeth look so nice, it doesn't even feel like they're my own teeth. =)
