Request: Guys and Dolls Paintings

During the play, "Guys and Dolls" my part was as a street painter in New York. And being an painter in real life as well, I actually painted while on stage. Due to request, here are the paintings I did over the course of the play performances.

Amaryllis

Sunflower

Most likely I'll touch them up, because although I'm happy with how they turned out, neither is as good as I could have done them ( and I haven't finished the Sunflower one).

Also, I intend to put on some more of my artwork that I have done this year, since school is almost over.

General Conference

I really enjoyed General Conference this last weekend, the talks are always really interesting, and I always especially like the ones from the First Presidency. Unforunately, I missed the fourth session because I got pretty sick, and I spent most of Sunday sleeping. I hope to be able to watch it sometime soon online. =)

Spring Break

This week has been Spring Break, and I have been having a great time! Recently my family has been going on short car trips, visiting some monuments and interesting places of this wonderful state and taking pictures of our stay. Now that I look back on the week, everything kind of blurred into a single day, so it's a little hard to separate what happened which day.
From the top of my head, we visited a dinosaur museum, the Union Station (with lots of big trains), and saw some ancient rock carvings. Most of my enjoyment, though, I believe from spending time with my family. Amazingly, everyone has been pleasant for the outings, and it has made the trips more enjoyable.
On a side note, it is snowing today pretty heavily, even though it is April. =) Just one of the reasons I love this state: its crazy weather.

Craziness!

Yes, yes, as of late I have been living at school, being part of the play and doing last minute homework. However, now that the term has ended, I think I'll finally be able to get back to regular life. I hope to be able to relax, and calm my emotions which have been irritated and overwhelmed and restless for the past month or two. So here I be, writing and organizing on this homework-free Saturday, because I looked at my blog, and realized I hadn't written since Thanksgiving (oops ^~^ ). Anyway, I'll try to summarize some things.

First, the school play, "Guys and Dolls" has taken a lot of my time this past few months, even though as a small part (a New Yorker) I wasn't required to put in as much time as the leads, but it still seemed like I live my life at school.
